Not a huge Robin Williams fan but today the movie, “Patch Adams” came on the USA channel after a different show that I had been watching. So I left it on and let it run while I worked around the house.

The movie had some clever lines. I suspect that some of the dialogue is lost on people when they are sitting and actually watching the movie. If you have to process all the visual input as well as the sound effects, background music and the words being spoken, you can’t possibly absorb the full impact of the spoken words.

I actually learned a lot about humanity and our human failings by listening to the movie and not watching it.
